Dog needing a home

When I went to work this morning - a little dog was sitting on the side of the road on 570. He stared at me as I drove by. It was as if he was waiting on his owner to come back and pick him up. It was really a sad site. When we went back into town at 5:30 - this little dog was still sitting on the side waiting for someone to come back and get him. I could not continue to drive by and leave him there so we turned around and he came running and barking. He is a sweet dog - I just can not keep him. If anyone has lost this dog or would like this dog - please pm me for information. He is black and brown with short hair. I just do not understand how people can do this to these poor animals. Thanks.

how big is the dog and you can you guess an age (puppy vs. adult)? My folks are looking for a small (miniature) short hair dog. Thanks!

He is a medium size dog - maybe 8 months ? - someone said he looks like a miniature pincher? He gets along with our other 3 dogs and so far has not chased my cats. Thanks.

I think we have found the little dog a new home. I really appreciate everyones help. Ya'll are great!!
