This is my new riding buddy, and he will be escorting me sometimes to the shelter. I was just wondering if anyone had some good tips for me. He is deaf, he is my second one in a year. He loves playing fetch and going everywhere with me. I have looked on the computer about training a deaf dog. But if you have done any training on your own, I would love to hear about it:Spin!:

SFinnel- I had a deaf dog approx. 20 plus years ago. She was the best dog in the world. I really didn't have to worry much about training her because her other senses took over. She was very alert to our where abouts & learned hand commands. She was also very disciplined in peoples emotions & expressions. She did very well with hand commands and facial expressions. Good Luck with the baby. She will teach you a lot about himself & people if you watch closely. Forget training him, he will train you.:lol:
