Just wanted to let everyone know that he is going to Houston now for treatments-- Cook's told the parents there was nothing more they could do for him. Their first visit there he did all the tests: MRI, head CT, laboratory work etc. Then they returned the next Monday for the first treatment.

He is going to take an experimental medication that Houston has never given another child he will be the first. It is given in pill form but the name has escaped me at this time. He took his first pill Last Monday so yesterday would've been his second time. Parents said he did very well with it and they returned home that afternoon.

Please continue praying for him and his recovery. These types of tumors are know to reoccurr often.

Spoke to Brock's parents today and his mother said he has taken this new drug now for eight days twice a day and has done well taking them. The pill is suppose to have the ability to dissolve tumors. Like I had stated at a earlier time they are researching this medication and hoping it will help cure others with cancers. I misunderstood her the first time she told me about the medicine cause I thought she said 3 people in Texas could take it at a time but it is only 3 people in the whole United States that can start it at the same time. They won't know if the medication helps for eight weeks-- this is when they will complete another MRI and see if the tumor is dissolving or not. Pray that this medication will help him and others oneday also.

Thank you-yoda-for the update.

Maybe before long the tumor will be dissolved--we shall pray toward that. He is such a precious child.

Once again this family is struggling with cancer that has taken over their son's health. He returned to Houston and they did a MRI showing the tumor is growing despite the experimental medication. Houston doctors stated they can do nothing any further and recommended the family take him home and spend time with him there. As of now he seems to be very tired and has no desire to eat or drink..... They do have a prayer blog set up and are hoping to get 24 hr. prayer for him. You can access his website and get connected to it by going to www.brocklatham.com. Please if you can spare 30 minutes a day sign up and help this family fight this with prayer.
