Diana Michelle (Williams) Davis, 39, of Eastland, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009 in Abilene. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Ronny Guess and Tim Dame officiating. Burial will follow in the Merriman Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland on Sunday from 4 until 6 P.M.

Diana was born August 26, 1969 in Eastland to Jerry D. Williams and Carolyn (Elmore) Williams. She attended Ranger High School, Ranger College and Cisco Jr. College where she received her LVN and RN Nursing license. She also earned Flight Nurse Certification from Southwest Medivac. She had worked for Eastland Memorial Hospital and Dr. Simpson in the Operating Room, also as Director of Nursing at Ranger Care Center and she loved Geriatric Nursing. She married Randy Davis on November 20, 1987 in Palo Pinto, Texas. She especially loved her children and grandchildren. She was a staunch supporter for the Relay for Life fund raiser for the American Cancer Society and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church at LaCasa.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Davis of Eastland; daughter, Amanda Leigh Davis of Eastland; sons, Justin Randall Davis, Matthew Burl Davis and Nathan Lavoy Davis; grandsons, Ethan James Maddox and Trevor Lee Maddox; mother, Carolyn Elmore; father, Jerry D. Williams; grandmother, Emma Williams; brothers, Jerry Williams, and Jason Williams and his wife, Jennifer; sisters, Lori Sandlin, Tammy Freeman, Sue Braddock, Sharon Swan and Nelda Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Dick Williams; niece, Chelsea Williams; mother-in-law, Uveila Dickson; and grandmother, Marvelle Hobbs.

Memorials may be made to Relay for Life.

may you be with the angels diana,you were a great freind to me and helped me in so many ways with my cancer questions.im gonna miss the evening chats when im feeling down you always made things better im gonna miss her dearly. with all my love Tammy you are in gods hands now.

I am so sorry to hear this. She fought so hard and so long. Rest in Peace. My prayers go out to the family.

I went to school with Diana. This saddens me to hear this. May God Bless her family.
